Treatment

Writer's picture: Jack BreetonJack Breeton

On the ground a man lay, beaten and bruised, another walks away also damaged but awake and leaving the area. We fade to see the fallen man up covered in bandages in a dark state of mind, obviously having been damaged by his recent defeat. His eyes glare up and we transition to him striking a punching bag so hard sweat radiates from him, what follows is a short intense montage of the man training doing various vigorous exercises whilst he has flashbacks of how he lost the last fight as the music begins to become more and more intense. Once the music swells we see the man reach the peak of his training as he stops striking the bag, the music goes silent and we see him go for one last swing before the music swells up once more. This time we see him dropped into another fight with the same man however now looking more determined and moving much sharper as his flashbacks play in his mind as he rights his previous wrongs on the spot. The music then becomes more intense as we see him start to get hit and he begins to struggle once again. As the music begins to reach his climax we see this man putting his all into this fight striking in time with the music as well as ducking and weaving, we also see him take a couple hits before bouncing back and carrying on. Just before the music ends we see him get hit and go for one more final hit. The last thing we see is the first scene but reversed as our protagonist walks away battered and bruised but victorious leaving the other man on the ground alone leaving him in the same position that he left him.
