To prepare for my essay I looked at three different films that I was going to write about and did research specific for that film.
For example for terminator I found out that the word computer phobia was used the most within books around 1980s and peaked in popularity the same year that the film was released.
Blade runner is another example as a few years prior to the production of the film the company wabot were making robots that were capable of repeating human action and even completing small tasks, which could show how the film is relevant to the time.
