For the past lesson we have spent time researching what interactive and secret cinema is so that we can prepare for doing a similar thing with the younger year in around 2 to 3 weeks time. For this lesson we learned what our overall goal is for this subject and therefore we have had to look at the bare basics and some examples of what we will be doing. Since we had to go to a similar event last year the concept is familiar to me.
I am both excited and slightly nervous for this subject as I am not one that really enjoys performing that much but I do think that production will be really entertaining and i will like to if possible provide a good show to the younger years.
As well as this we have been tasked to produce our own pitches for what we would base our interactive screening on. My team consisting of Rory Aiden and Reegan came to the conclusion of doing the muppets Christmas carol as our film of choice. We have categorized what each person will take role in when making the power point so that each person does an equal amount of Work.
So far we have come up with some good ideas on how to design the room such as snow and a large feast like table so i do beleive that we will have a very solid pitch for the following week and that we have a decent chance to be the chosen film for the screening.
